CORD HITS THE ROAD CAMPAIGNING



RE: PM, CORD COALITION’S CAMPAIGN
ACTIVITIES

Prime Minister Raila Odinga is
scheduled to lead the Coalition for
Reforms and Democracy (CORD)
brigade for campaign activities in
Eastern and Rift Valley Provinces
beginning Thursday, 14th February,
2013, through Sunday, 17th February,
2013.

Mr Odinga, accompanied by the CORD
co-principals, Vice President Kalonzo
Musyoka and Minister Moses
Wetangula, are scheduled to make an
extensive two-day tour of Upper
Eastern on Thursday, 14th February,
2013 and Friday, 15th February, 2013,
to drum up support for his presidential
candidature. The three will address
major rallies in Meru, Isiolo and Embu
counties, besides individual mini rallies
in various parts of the respective
counties

On Saturday, 16th February, 2013, the
principals will shift the campaigns to
Bomet County, South Rift region, for a
joint major rally in Bomet Town, to be
preceded by mini rallies in different
parts of the county.
They will then travel to Nandi South on
Sunday, 17th February, 2013, where
their daylong campaign-blitz will
culminate in a major rally in Kipkelion
town.

Meanwhile, Mr Odinga will on
Wednesday, 13th February, 2013, join
President Mwai Kibaki at the Bondo
University, where the president is due
to preside over a ceremony to grant
the university a Charter.
