FORM 1 CSTUDENT SUSPENDED FOR SEDUCING SCHOOL MATRON... tihihihih kenya nayo.. maajabu tupu.

Form One student suspended for ‘seducing matron’

The suspension of the St Mary’s High School, Lushangonyi, student has irked his parents and received criticism from local education officials.Taita District Education Officer Samuel Nyantika termed the suspension illegal, saying the administration should have investigated before taking action.
“I cannot believe that a Form One student can be bold enough to demand sexual favours from a matron. The suspension is wrong,” Mr Nyantika told The Standard.
He said the boy’s parents complained that their son was being victimised by the school administration for no good reason. Nyantika said the parents accused the school of failing to investigate the matter.
The Principal, Laban Mwangeme, could not be reached for comment. “The principal is not in school as he is attending KCSE briefing in Voi town,” said a teacher, who declined to be named.
Meanwhile, students from Kenyatta National School in Mwatate have been sent home after they attempted to burn the institution.
Mwatate DEO Wellington Ongande said the students had been sent home to pave way for investigations.
“We have sent home other students apart from Form Fours who are sitting their national examination,” he said.
