Friday, March 15, 2013 - George Waititu is a household name for many, he came to the limelight as the Managing Director of Synovate and surprised many after he quit a very lucrative job and most wondered where he was headed…….. he is now an employer.

Last year the Tafaria Castle and Country lodge was unveiled and it was amazing that aside from the Brookhouse International School castle, there was another castle in Kenya. The castle took 7 years to construct but its fruits can now be reaped.

The castle has an amphitheater which can hold at least 800 people and only 25 rooms which have various interesting names like The Vikings, Lost knights, Damsels and The Knights.

Located somewhere between Laikipia and Aberdare Ranges, the castle is said to always be fully booked in advance. Its cheapest room goes for Sh. 17,000 while the most expensive goes for Sh. 40,000.
