FORMER SONU CHAIRMAN KARLMAX IS DEAD _______ RIP

Kenyan Celebs Pay Tribute to Fallen Former University of Nairobi Student Leader

Former radical University of Nairobi (UoN) student leader Karl Marx is dead. Karl Marx, 36, whose real name is Christopher Owiro, collapsed and died in his house. Karl Marx was one of Kenya’s most powerful and intelligent in the late 90′s and early 2000.

Owiro was suspended in 2000 by the University of Nairobi (UoN), where he was undertaking a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics and Chemistry. He was sent home while in his final year by the university’s Senate. He however resumed his studies in 2003 after the Narc Government allowed suspended university students to resume their studies.

It’s also alleged that Karl Max came up with a Mathematics formula that showed that the merger between KANU and National Democratic Party (NDP) would not last. He had enrolled for medicine, changed to dental school before graduating with a pure Mathematics undergraduate degree. He had 13 straight A’s in both first and second years but performed poorly in subsequent years. He graduated after 13 years in university and later on completed a post-graduate degree in Actuarial Science.

After news about his death was released, a section of Kenyan celebs paid tribute to the fallen hero. Take a look;
@Saliva Vic Damn! Karl Marx is dead. Dude did his undergrad in like 13 some odd years yo! R.I.P Comrade.
@bonifacemwangi Fare thee well Karl Marx
Robert Alai described him as “a fighter and true patriot”,
Gidi Gidi termed him the “former Commandant, Sonu student military wing.”
Michael Murumba: Guy who had the power to throw stones, Christopher Owiro alias 'Karl Marx' dies

His body was taken to Port Florence Hospital Mortuary, and will be laid to rest on January 12.

R.I.P KARL MARX aka CHRISTOPHER OWIRO

Hats off & a moment of silence to the reputed comrade & UoN student leader, KARL MAX aka Owiro Christopher. R.I.P

Word reaching me indicates that Karl Marx, the radical former University of Nairobi student Leader has passed away in Kisumu. Those of you who are old enough to remember the many running battles the UoN students fought with the Kenyan Police will definitely remember Karl Marx, for he was in the thick of it. I only met him once, in 2000 when I came back from Havard University and Karl Marx was one of the many UoN students who came to welcome me at JKIA. I have heard that he was not doing too good in the last couple of years.

Anyone who knew him better, care to share some of your memorable moments about him?

He had enrolled for medicine, changed to dental school before graduating with a pure Mathematics undergraduate degree. He graduated after 13 years in university and later on completed a post-graduate degree in Actuarial Science. I will be traveling to Kisumu to bury him.

The only words I could figure out from Karl Max's speeches were "Comrades Power & we go, we go!" ADWA GWEYO TO POD ALUOR

DR. JARUNDA WOULD LIKE TO ASK YOU TO GWEYO MATIN BUT IF YOU DON'T KNOW HOW TO GWEYO JUST LIKE AND WRITE: "R.I.P KARL MAX"
