Easter is a promise of renewal by the Almighty God. In many ways, especially this year, God has renewed Kenya.
First, as a country, we are celebrating the Jubilee year of our Independence. As the Holy Bible puts it in the book of Leviticus, a Jubilee year is one in which God’s mercies are manifest. It is my hope and Prayer that God will extend his mercies to all of us.
Second, we have emerged from an election where Kenyans came out in large numbers and exercised their democratic right peacefully. As we celebrate the triumph of democracy, the triumph of peace and the triumph of nationhood; we must thank God for this renewal and pray for His guidance in the Governing of this Great Nation.
I wish you and your families a Happy Easter full of God's Blessings and Mercies. May this be a new beginning of greater prosperity, success and happiness for your family and Kenya at large.
